Ludhiana, 29 September (Harminder singh Kitty) – MLA Rajinderpal Kaur China from Vidhan Sabha constituency south r the roads of the local Sherpur Main Market. C. C. Road mixing work commenced.
Addressing the occasion, MLA China said the project will cost around 66 lakh rupees. They said the project had been pending for the past 25 years, causing the road work to not be completed. Fulfilling the demand of the residents of the said area, the work of these roads was started today.
Along with the construction of said road where the area’s road connectivity will be increased, people will also get more amenities because the road condition was very bad.
Senior officials of the municipal corporation were also present on this occasion who were also issued guidelines by MLA China to complete the project within the stipulated time. They said people should not face difficulties during road construction that’s why we have appealed on officers to take action accordingly. He said that the traditional parties have not given any priority to the development works of the southern constituency. They were entangled in the cycle of corruption on other parties while the silent people had to pay for it but now the state has its own Aam Aadmi Party government which is carrying out development work keeping the interest of the people in mind.
