Ludhiana, February ( HS KITTY) – MLA Rajinderpal Kaur China from Vidhan Sabha constituency Ludhiana South made a surprise inspection of Mohalla Clinic in Sherpur today and met the patients present there.
They noticed on the spot that people were taking full advantage of the clinic’s facilities and also interacted with the doctors.
MLA China said that mohalla clinics have been opened across Punjab as per the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, so that common people do not have to go to big hospitals for minor treatment. He said the opening of the neighborhood clinics has led to a significant increase in health facilities to people. More than 40 tests and more than 100 medicines are being given free to people at the Mohalla Clinic.
MLA China said that previous governments have not given any care to health facilities. He said the state was in retreat due to the wrong policies of previous governments which now the common man’s government is working day and night to bring it to Lehen.
