The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery participated in the 19th Annual Conference of the North Zone Association of Plastic Surgeons

The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery participated in the 19th Annual Conference of the North Zone Association of Plastic Surgeons (NZAPSCON 2024), jointly organized by Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC) and the Department of Plastic Surgery, Balaji Hospital, Karnal, Haryana.

Dr. Pinki Pargal, Professor and Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery, delivered a presentation on “Shifting Paradigms in Diabetic Wound Management.” During her presentation, she highlighted the establishment of a newly inaugurated Diabetic Foot Clinic equipped with state-of-the-art gadgets for screening and managing diabetic wounds at CMC Ludhiana.

Additionally, postgraduate students from the department presented a total of four research papers and two posters, which received high praise from peers and professionals in attendance.
