Cervical Cancer Awareness & Prevention Tips
Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers in women. Awareness, early screening, and lifestyle changes can help reduce the risk.
What is Cervical Cancer?

Cervical cancer occurs in the cells of the cervix, often due to persistent infection with high-risk types of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). It develops slowly and can be detected early through regular screening.
Key Facts About Cervical Cancer
HPV is the Leading Cause – Most cervical cancer cases are linked to HPV infection, a common virus transmitted through sexual contact.
Early Detection Saves Lives – Regular screening helps detect precancerous changes before they turn into cancer.
Vaccination Can Prevent It – The HPV vaccine is highly effective in protecting against the most dangerous HPV strains.
Symptoms Often Appear Late – Many women do not have symptoms in the early stages, making screening crucial.
Cervical Cancer Prevention Tips
