*- Promotional material distributed at different places for awareness against drugs*
Ludhiana, 29 December (000) – Free medical checkup camp was organized by the District Legal Services Authority under the “Youth Against Drugs” campaign in collaboration with the Health Department.
In addition to this, promotional materials for awareness against drugs were also distributed at various places of sub-divisions Khanna, Payal, Samrala and Jagraon including District Ludhiana to create more and more awareness about the campaign.
CJM-Comm-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Ludhiana Sumit Sabharwal informed that under the campaign a free medical check-up camp was organised under the leadership of District Legal Services Authority , Ludhiana.
They said that under the campaign lawyers, paralegal volunteers, panel lawyers are encouraging students to stay away from drugs by visiting schools/colleges and other various places. Awareness rallies are being conducted in schools and colleges, poster making competitions are being held to save the youth of Punjab from the leprosy of drugs.
People were also informed about the toll free number 15100 issued under that campaign.
They reiterated that the guidelines issued by Hon’ble Member Secretary, Punjab State District Legal Services Authority, S.A.S. Nagar and Hon’ble District Session Judge-Comm-Chairperson, District Legal Services Authorities, Ludhiana has been launched on December 06, 2025 that will last till January 06, 2026 To be continued.
