Dr G S Wander takes charge as DMCH principal

Dr Gurpreet Wander is the new principal of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). He assumed the charge today after Dr Sandeep Puri resigned from the post following the hospital barring doctors from private practice.

Dr. Wander is the chief cardiologist at Hero DMCH Heart Institute and also vice-principal of DMCH and has been a part of DMCH since 1988.

He did MBBS with honours from GMC, Patiala; MD in Medicine and DM in cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1985. Dr G S Wander is also the Chairman of the Board of Management of the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot
