An academic feast ‘Prunus 2024’ was organized in Christian Medical College, Ludhiana by Association of Medical Alumni, CMC, LDH on 23rd March 2024 under the patronage of

Dr William Bhatti (Director), Dr Jeyaraj D Pandian (Principal) and Dr Allen Joseph (Medical Superintendent) with Dr Ajay Kumar as organizing chairperson and Dr Kailash Chander as organizing secretary. Dr Karamvir Goyal, Member Punjab Medical Council was the chief guest for the event. He mentioned that CMC Ludhiana keeps standards very high in terms of continuing medical education, academic activities and advancement in medical field to serve the community in healthcare.He announced 3 CME Credit hours award from Punjab Medical Council for this CME.

The CME commenced with short description of the name and logo of the event ‘Prunus’ which is a single tree developed through grafting and bears 40 different kinds of fruits symbolizing CMC as the single tree and alumni nourished from it and currently flourishing in different aspects of health and medical care.

The event witnessed various national and international speakers and delegates contributing their area of expertise creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and learning. All the speakers had done their graduate medical studies in CMC Ludhiana and had come back for a Reunion scheduled on Founder’s Day 24ht .

Novel concepts and advanced techniques in healthcare were discussed and the event ended with contented medical audience.
