“CMC&H Ludhiana – Healing Hands, Serving Hearts in Times of Crisis”
PunjabiHead Line( H S KITTY) A Free Flood Relief Medical Camp was organized by Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMC&H), Ludhiana, with the support of the Diocese of Amritsar on 9th September 2025.
The camp was held in two of the worst flood-affected border villages – Talwandi Tapala and Dayal Bhatti in District Gurdaspur.

A dedicated team of 12 medical personnel, including 5 doctors from CMC&H Ludhiana –
Dr Sharon Athwal (Internal Medicine)
Dr Prabhsimran Dhillon (Dermatology)
Dr Rohit Kumar (ENT)
Dr Karan Arora (Paediatrics)
Dr GP Singh (Community Medicine)
examined and treated 250 patients during the camp.
Along with medical consultations, dry ration, essential medicines, sanitary napkins, and safe drinking water were distributed to support flood-hit families.
This initiative reflects CMC&H’s commitment to serving communities in times of crisis, extending healing and hope beyond hospital walls.
