CMC Ludhiana Dedicates State-of-the-Art Renovated Eye OPD to Serve the Community

Ludhiana, September 4, 2025 –Punjabi Head Line HARMINDER SINGH KITTY) The Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMC), Ludhiana, marked a significant milestone with the dedication of its renovated and upgraded Eye Outpatient Department (OPD). The ceremony celebrated the transformation of the Eye Block, originally constructed in 1986, which has now been completely refurbished and modernized to meet the growing needs of the community.

The new Eye OPD is equipped with state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment, ensuring advanced diagnostics and world-class treatment facilities. With this upgrade, CMC reinforces its commitment to providing the highest quality of eye care and extending its legacy of compassionate service.

The dedication ceremony was presided over by Dr. Sudhir Joseph, Chairman of the Governing Body, CMC Ludhiana Society, along with Dr. William Bhatti, Director of CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana.

The event was graced by the presence of eminent industrialists and long-time well-wishers of CMC – Shri S.P. Oswal, Chairman & Managing Director of Vardhman Group, and Shri Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman & Managing Director of Avon Cycles Ltd. Their consistent support has played a vital role in strengthening CMC’s community service initiatives.
