Ludhiana(H S KITTY) Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, proudly announces the inauguration of its newly renovated and expanded Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit, a milestone in advanced medical care in Punjab.
About the Program
CMC Ludhiana initiated the first allogeneic stem cell transplant program in Punjab in 2008 and has successfully completed:
285 Bone Marrow Transplants
100 Thalassaemia Transplants including matched related, unrelated, haploidentical transplants, and autologous stem cell transplants.
Expanded Facility
The upgraded BMT unit now features:
8 state-of-the-art transplant beds equipped with advanced technology.
Enhanced infrastructure to serve more patients requiring life-saving transplants.
