DMC&H and NFL Nangal Join Hands for a Mega Free Medical Camp

Ludhiana Punjabheadline (HS KITTY) Nangal, March 30, 2025: Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H), Ludhiana, in collaboration with NFL Nangal, successfully organized a Mega Free Medical Camp at NFL Hospital, Sector 4, Naya Nangal. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response, providing expert medical consultations to 2,318 patients across multiple specialties.

Comprehensive Healthcare Services

A team of super-specialist doctors from Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, ENT, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology extended their expertise to patients. Additionally, Physiotherapy and Dietitian consultations were provided, along with essential health tips to promote overall wellness.

Special Attention to Children with Special Needs
A total of 60 children with special needs from ASHHRAYA (a welfare association at Dehlan, UNA) were examined by the Pediatrics, ENT, and Ophthalmology departments. To bring joy to the children, they were gifted bags containing stationery and sweets.

Free Medicines and Diagnostic Tests

Patients received free medicines as prescribed by doctors. Additionally, essential diagnostic services such as ECG, Blood Sugar Testing, Bone Densitometry, and Blood Pressure Check-ups were conducted free of cost.

Commitment to Long-Term Care

Free Cataract Surgeries: DMC&H has committed to conducting free cataract surgeries, including lens implantation and medicines, for 25 or more needy patients screened at the camp.

Free ECHO Tests: Cardiac patients identified during the camp are being provided free ECHO testing at DMC&H Hero Heart Centre.
