Igniting Young Minds in the Science of Truth
Ludhiana (HS KITTY) The Department of Forensic Medicine, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, successfully organized its first-ever state-level quiz competition ‘Vox Cadaveris’ on 11th September 2025, drawing enthusiastic participation from 23 teams representing medical institutions across Punjab.
The intellectually stimulating event, held at the CMC auditorium, was guided by Dr. William Bhatti, Dr. Jeyaraj Pandian, and Dr. Abhilasha Williams, and led by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (HOD), Dr. Karan Pramod (Assistant Professor & Quiz Master), and Dr. Abhijit Singh (Joint Secretary), with commendable support from Batch 2022 MBBS students Incendios.
Results:
🏆 1st Prize: GMCH Sector 32, Chandigarh
🥈 2nd Prize: GMC Patiala
🥉 3rd Prize: CMC Ludhiana, GMC Patiala & AIIMS Bathinda (shared)
The quiz tested expertise in forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence, and medicolegal issues, creating a vibrant platform for learning and collaboration. Senior forensic experts from across Punjab extended their support and expressed interest in future academic ventures.
‘Vox Cadaveris’ will now be a signature annual academic event of CMC Ludhiana, nurturing forensic brilliance and collaborative learning across medical colleges.
