“Healthcare to Every Doorstep — A Mission of Compassion by CMC Ludhiana & Trident Group.”
Ludhiana Punjabiheadline(Harminder singh kitty) Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, in collaboration with The Trident Group, has organized a mega free medical camp in Barnala, which commenced on 29th October 2025 at the Cultural Centre, opposite Trident Complex, Raikot Road, Sanghera, Barnala.
The initiative was formally inaugurated in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Barnala, Sh. T. Benith (IAS) as the Chief Guest, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Sh. Mohd Sarfaraz Alam (IPS) as the Guest of Honour. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Baljit Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Barnala, along with key representatives from CMC & Hospital, Ludhiana — Dr. William Bhatti (Director), Dr. Allen Joseph (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Abi M. Thomas (Principal, Christian Dental College), and Sr. Sangeeta Nichols (Nursing Superintendent).
In his address, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of CMC Ludhiana and the Trident Group for bringing quality healthcare closer to the people. He emphasized that such community health initiatives will greatly benefit the residents of Barnala and surrounding villages, encouraging everyone to avail themselves of the free services.
The camp will run for six weeks, concluding on December 5, 2025. It is structured into six phases, operating three days a week (Wednesday to Friday), ensuring maximum outreach and effective service delivery.
The Mega Health Check-up Camp offers a comprehensive range of free medical services, including general health check-ups, specialist consultations, dental care, diagnostic tests, medicines, X-rays, ECG, eye check-ups, cataract surgeries, and free eyeglasses distribution.
This initiative by CMC Ludhiana and The Trident Group reinforces their shared commitment to public welfare and preventive healthcare, truly embodying the spirit of service — “Reaching the Unreached.”
