Gurbachan Singh Memorial Hospital Lalton, A unit of Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, inaugurated an advanced physiotherapy equipment along with the dedication of a cutting-edge electrotherapy unit (Winstim combination therapy) on January 16, 2024.
The ceremony, graced by eminent personalities including Dr. William Bhatti (Director CMC), Dr. Allen Joseph (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Clarence Samuel (HOD, SPM),Dr. Sumeir (MD Medicine And In Charge Of Lalton Center), And Dr. Sandeep Singh (Principal, College Of Physiotherapy), witnessed the presence of notable guests, Mr. Kumar Dhawan and Mr. Palwinder Grewal, representing the Omaxe society.
The event commenced with a word of prayer led by Rev. Ambrose Rogers, followed by a comprehensive address by Director Dr. William Bhatti emphasizing the pivotal role of physiotherapy within a multi-disciplinary healthcare approach.
Dr.Sandeep Singh shared insights into the newly introduced combination therapy, expressing gratitude to Mr. Kartik Rai of Rai Yarn Agency for their generous contribution towards implementing this state-of-the-art technology. He highlighted the transformative impact on patients with orthopeadic, neurological, burn, surgical, gynecological conditions, extending its benefits to the community at large.
