While inaugurating the project in the presence of residents of the area, MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said that the area residents had been suffering from pothole roads for decades, as the traditional parties had failed to resolve the problem.
Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said that residents will get huge relief after completion of the project, which is being carried out at a cost of around Rs 36.45 lakh.
Municipal Zonal Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Supervising Engineer Parveen Singla and other officials were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working for the all-round development of the state.
Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said the municipality’s focus is on overall sustainable development and keeping the city clean and green. Municipal corporation is doing a large number of development projects and residents should also support the authorities in making Ludhiana the No. 1 city.
