*Repeated commitment to make Ludhiana No. 1 city*
Ludhiana, April 25, 2025:( PRITPAL SINGH PALI) Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur on Friday launched a massive cleaning drive from Tajpur Road, reiterating Chief Minister Punjab Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann’s commitment to making a ‘Rangla Punjab’.
MLA Grewal and Mayor Inderjit Kaur urged city dwellers to come forward and make a joint effort to make Ludhiana the No. 1 city.
Counselor Ashwani Sharma, Counselor Kamal Manocha, M. C Zonal Commissioner (Zone-B) Neeraj Jain, C. স. O Ashwani Sahota, was. স. I Amir Singh Bajwa and others also participated in the cleaning campaign.
Appreciating the efforts being made by the cleaners and other rank four workers to keep Ludhiana city clean, MLA Grewal said that in the coming days all major roads and wards will be covered under the drive. They urged city residents to make it a public movement and make efforts to keep their surroundings clean.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur said that ensuring cleanliness across the city has always been his priority and a comprehensive cleanliness drive has been launched across the city. He said that it is our duty to ensure a clean environment for our future generations and to achieve this goal requires a joint effort.
MLA Grewal and Mayor Inderjit Kaur said the state government led by Chief Minister Punjab Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to making a ‘Rangla Punjab’ and serious efforts are being made at all levels. They are regularly monitoring the development works and also taking feedback from residents to ensure development.
