Punjabiheadline (H S KITTY) The Department of Pediatrics at Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, made a remarkable mark at the annual North Zone Adolescon 2025, held in Ludhiana on July 26th and 27th. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from institutions across the region.
Third-year postgraduate students, Dr. Karan and Dr. Praisee, brought laurels to the department by winning top accolades — Best Poster Award and Best Oral Paper Presentation, respectively. Their research highlighted innovative approaches and clinical insight in adolescent healthcare.
Adding further prestige to the occasion, Dr. Monika Sharma, Head of the Pediatrics Department, and Dr. Aayush Gupta, Assistant Professor (Paediatric Endocrinology), were invited as expert speakers. They addressed critical topics focused on adolescent care, reflecting CMC’s commitment to nurturing youth health with evidence-based strategies.
