The Tricuspid Valve is one of the four vital valves of the human heart, located between the Right Atrium (RA) and Right Ventricle (RV). Its primary function is to regulate venous blood flow and prevent backward leakage.
When this valve fails to close properly — a condition known as Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR) — blood flows back into the right atrium during ventricular contraction, leading to congestion, swelling, fatigue, liver dysfunction, and eventually right heart failure if left untreated.

About TRICVALVE® Transcatheter Bicaval Valves System
The TRICVALVE® system consists of two self-expanding biological valves — one implanted in the Superior Vena Cava (SVC) and the other in the Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) — to manage caval reflux and hemodynamically relevant tricuspid insufficiency.
These valves are implanted percutaneously, without disturbing the native tricuspid valve, making the procedure ideal for high-risk or inoperable patients.
